About Us
I am a homebased business again, I closed the storefront in Artesia, NM early in 2009. I am back out at the farm in (Cottonwood) were most of my creatative juice comes from, there is something to be said about fresh air.
My daughter and I are working to bring you things that are beautiful, useful, and in some cases timeless.
This business started in the early eighties by my mother with her storefront "Something Different". I worked for her until we lost her in 2000, from there I took over and have been trying to find my niche. She always said that my brother and sister got college educations, mine was the store. She was a wonderful, full of Grace lady. I am very proud to be her daughter and I am trying to keep that tradition alive with my daughter, who I am also very proud of.
Living in New Mexico all my life and being raised the way I was has made me lean to the comfort of things southwest, as well as the traditional parts of it. But, I love European, traditional, organic, rustic, western, as well as etc.etc...... So I am very eclectic. You will find a little bit of everything with Two Red.com.
My family and I live on a farm here in New Mexico so I will be continually trying to find organic products or things that a good steward of the land would look for. If we buy products that are timeless more than likely they will stay out of land fills and be used over and over again. I have many pieces of clothing, jewelry, and more, handed down from my mother and they are as wonderful now as they were for her then. This will also bring "Traditions" into our lives.
Running a business is not always easy and often times costs a fortune, but anything worth doing is not always easy is it? We have opened up to doing shows across the country at different events, this web site and I am working on some type of catalog too. So you may see us at a show, receive a catalog or look us up on the web. I am trying to work and think out side of the box.
For now I want to bring you traditional southwest with luxury in mind, somethings that are useful, and things that you will be able to hand down to the future generations in your family or circle of friends.
For now....
Cheers and Blessings
